Turkish Journal of Agricultural Engineering Research (Turk J Agr Eng Res, TURKAGER) is an international open-access online, and peer double-blind reviewed journal. TURKAGER publishes the original English and Turkish research articles and a very limited number of review articles. There are no page charges for manuscript publishing in this journal. TURKAGER has an open access system and online journal published twice a year in June and December.

-The responsible author responsible for the manuscript must upload the copyright agreement form signed with the similarity report using the 'iThenticate Plagiarism Detection Software or Turnitin' for new manuscript submission to the journal.
-The plagiarism report (similarity report) of the submitted manuscript should be below 20%, except for the reference list.
-The manuscript text should be prepared on A4 size paper, leaving 2.5 cm blank spaces all four margins for each page. Each line of pages and each page should be numbered. The manuscript submitted should not be longer than 25 pages (excluding figures and tables).
The text manuscript of the manuscript should be written as Century font.
-Firstly, TITLE PAGE should be prepared for the article to be sent.
Do not forget to write the Turkish title in Turkish manuscript writing.

In this section, for address information, the first letter and the other words of the words should be written in upper cases and lower cases, and italic, and as Century font, 8 points, respectively.
Declaration of Competing Interest
The author(s) must declare that they have no conflict of interest.
Credit Authorship Contribution Statement
The author(s) must declare the contributions to the manuscript such as the sections (For example; Investigation, Methodology, Conceptualization, Formal analysis, Data curation, Validation, Writing - original draft, Review, and Editing, Visualization etc).
-In Turkish manuscript writing; do not forget to write the Turkish title and Turkish abstract. And also, in Figure and Table titles should be given as Turkish and English together.
TITLE
The title of the manuscript should be brief and informative. The title should be written a single line spacing and written as lower case letters, except the first letter of the title. The manuscript title of the manuscript should be written as Century font, 13 points.
ABSTRACT
The abstract should not exceed 250 words, it should be prepared as Century font, 10 points, and one a half line spacing. The abstract should be written as a single paragraph.
Keywords section should be contained 3-6 keywords and they should be written as Century font, single line spacing, 10 points. Keywords should be different from the words of the title of the article.
INTRODUCTION
The introduction section should be prepared as Century font 11 points and a second line spacing. The introduction section should be clear and concise. The introduction should clearly define the objectives of the study. In the introduction section, the existing problem must be explained, and the previous studies, especially the most recent publications, should be given.
MATERIALS and METHODS
Materials and Methods section should be prepared as Century font 11 points and a second line spacing. In this section, all the procedures (materials, analytical methods, and statistical analyses) should clearly be explained.
RESULTS and DISCUSSION
Results and Discussion section should be prepared as Century font 11 points and a second line spacing. The findings and results of the study should be discussed with consideration by the previous works of literature in the Results and discussion section. Tables and/or figures should be presented in this section. The title of tables and/or figures should be given as a second line spacing and numbered sequentially.
Figures and Tables should be given with a title and numbered consecutively. Tables and figures should not exceed 16 x 23 cm. Figures should have a high resolution and grayscale (For example: a minimum resolution of 600dpi in jpeg format).
Units: SI units should be used for all units of measurement in the text. '/' sign should not be used in unit representations (For example: (km h-1; l s-1 rather than km/h; l/s) A space should be left between units and a single space should be left between the number and the unit (For example; cal g-1 ˚C- 1; 1 kg m-1 h-2 ). For decimal fractions, a period should be used. (2.54 rather than 2,54). In the definitions of percentage, angle, second and minute, no space should be left between the number and the unit. (For example: 20%, 40°, 55'', 15').
Formulas and Equations: Number each formula should be numbered, using the word mathematical processor, with a reference number at the end in parentheses. Formulas should be given as “Equation” and numbered in the text (For example: Equation 1).
Abbreviations and symbols: Abbreviations and symbols should be given in parentheses if necessary. Abbreviations should not be used in the article title or subtitles. In the definitions given for statistical significance in the text, ‘P’ values or ‘p<0.01’ symbols should be used.
CONCLUSION
The importance of the results and contribution to the science of the results should be emphasized in this section. This section should be prepared as Century font 11 points and a second line spacing. The conclusion section may be included the recommendations. The conclusion should not include the same sentences in the text or abstract.
ACKNOWLEDGMENT (Optional)
In the Acknowledgment section, the grants, the funds, the persons and organizations contributed to the research should be written. This section should be prepared as Century font 11 points and a second line spacing.
REFERENCES
In this section, references should be written in alphabetical and chronological order. References should be prepared as Century font 9 points and one a half line spacing. In English prepared manuscripts, the thesis references in different languages (except English) must be referred to by an English translation. In the text, for citation with one author, surname and the year of publication should be written (Mohsenin, 1980). For citation with two authors, ‘and’ should be used between the surnames of authors (Razavi and Parvar, 2007). For citation with three or more authors, the first author’s surname should be followed ‘et al.’ (Eren et al., 2010). For the same author/s, if there is more than one reference in the same year, then ‘a, b’ letters should be added in alphabetical order these references (Altuntas et al., 2018a).

Research Ethics: Scientific research to be submitted to the journal must comply with the rules in the Higher Education Institutions Scientific Research and Publication Ethics Directive, COPE, and the Helsinki Declaration in terms of research ethics.
Research requiring Ethics Committee permission are as follows.
• All kinds of research conducted with qualitative or quantitative approaches that require data collection from participants using questionnaires, interviews, focus group work, observation, experimentation, interview techniques.

• Blind Review: Blind review is applied in the Turkish Journal of Agricultural Engineering Research (TURKAGER) for objective evaluation and publication of the highest quality. The double-blind review method is applied for the evaluation process of all studies and the author and referee identity of the studies are hidden in the journal.
Evaluation Process:
• Preliminary Control Process: The article submitted to the Turkish Journal of Agricultural Engineering Research (TURKAGER) is first examined by the Editor-in-Chief in terms of its suitability for the aim and scope of the journal. If the submitted manuscript does not meet the aim and scope of the journal, it is rejected at the latest within 1 week and the author is informed. The manuscript, whose purpose and scope is appropriate, is examined in terms of journal writing rules, language and expression, and the statistics editing of the study. Manuscripts with deficiencies in these issues are requested to be corrected by the author. The manuscripts without correction within a month are rejected. After all arrangements, the appropriated manuscripts are directed to the section editor for referee evaluation.
• Review Process: The section editor examines all the section content of the manuscript and the manuscript suitable is included in the referee evaluation process. However, the manuscripts which are not suitable for the referee evaluation by examining all the section contents are rejected together with the section editor's evaluation report. The author is informed within 4 weeks at the latest. In the referee evaluation, the mentioned manuscripts are sent to at least three expert referees by the section editor, from the journal referee's pool or outside the pool according to their content and scopes of the manuscripts. It is considered that each of the manuscript referees is from different institutions and not from the same institution with the manuscript author/s. Referees must ensure that they will not share any information and documents with anyone about the evaluation process. The review period given to the referees for the review evaluation process is at least 2 weeks. The correction suggestions from the referees or the section editor must be completed within 6 weeks by the authors. The referees can decide their suitability by examining the corrections for the manuscript or may request corrections more than once if necessary. The evaluation result, the opinions of the referees are examined by the section editor within 2 weeks at the latest. As a result of the review, the section editor communicates its final decision of the manuscript to the Editor-in-Chief.
• Publishing Board Decision: Publishing Editorial Board prepares the decision of the editorial board based on the opinion of the section editor and the referees. This final decision is notified to the author (s) by the Editor-in-Chief, together with the section editor and the recommendations of the referee, within 1 week at the latest. For manuscripts that given a negative decision in this reviewing process is achieved.
• Withdraw of manuscript: The author (s), who wish to withdraw their manuscript during the evaluation phase, forward the wet signed and scanned petition containing the subject to the editorial board via the e-mail address of the magazine turkager@gmail.com. The Publishing Editorial Board returns to the author/s within 1 week at the latest by examining the withdrawal petition. The author/s of a manuscript whose petition has not been approved by the editorial board cannot submit their manuscripts to another journal. The author/s are obliged to cooperate with the journal editor if the author/s notices a mistake or error regarding published, early view, or evaluation stage. The author/s must have a document showing that they have the right to use the data used, the necessary permissions related to research/analysis, or that the experimental subjects have consented. The editors constantly carry out the processes for the development of the journal and the quality of the published works. The Turkish Journal of Agricultural Engineering Research (TURKAGER) publishing board has the obligation to initiate an investigation into the manuscript in case of suspicion of copyright and plagiarism of a manuscript that has been published, publishing, or evaluated stage. As a result of the investigation, if copyright and plagiarism are suspected in the manuscript, the publishing board notifies the author/s of the withdrawal from the evaluation stage within 1 week at the latest by making a detailed explanation of the manuscript.
• Privacy Statement: All personal information in the Turkish Journal of Agricultural Engineering Research (TURKAGER) journal system is used for scientific purposes and is not shared with third parties.
Archiving: All articles published in the Turkish Journal of Agricultural Engineering Research are stored on NATIONAL LIBRARY servers (https://ederlemevg.mkutup.gov.tr/logineydes.net) in pdf format.
